This little girl since very early ages knew she was
different. She knew she was unlike her friends, she knew that her life is going
to be different and she knew her reasons for being in this life are quite
different.
As the time went by she realized that her mother shared some of the traits and she felt safe in her presence. The little girl could not stay mad at anyone for too long. All anger was superficial and momentary. If something happened to anyone who had been misbehaving towards her even moments later, she would be there to help them out. She felt connections to all and everything.
Many took advantage of her kind and giving heart and they went on thinking that she would not see or understand what they were doing. Some called her a fool for her ever-smiling face.
It seemed as if the only genuine care towards her came from her mother. Everyone else were there because she could do something for them. Later in life her brother came to understand the love for family, but could never even fathom to grasp what she was all about.
Within her, she felt the male and the female forces. She behaved like a male in business life and like a female in personal life. Some of her female traits oozed into business side as she cared for all she worked along.
She felt equal to all and treated all the same. She played humble to a fault and even at that she was seen as a show off. She married at the age of 19 and was forced to leave her country, where her roots and family were and most of all leave her mother.
The next upcoming 35 years of her life seemed even more so like a novel than the first 20. She lived few lifetimes in one. When her first marriage ended, she continued to pretend to be a family member to the ex husband and lived with him and his new girlfriend. When the new girlfriend needed a friend, she was always there. When the ex needed help, she was always the strong pillar they could depend on.
She got involved with a second man, whom even though had a beautiful heart, his care for this girl was not deep enough to keep him true. Much can be said for the time spent with him. This man pretended to be the provider for her in front of his family and when he died at an early age, his family abandoned the girl thinking that she did not want to share his wealth with them.
One constant in the girl's life was her mother.
Being as versatile and easy going as she is, she went on learning many traits. People loved having her around, yet they were afraid. She did everything that she got involved in well. For many that presented a threat. Only those who understood her mission knew that she was only there to do a service and see them prosper.
Finally after many years of being a nurturing companion to her ex and his new wife, they decided to leave her without making their decisions evident ahead of time. As they left, much became evident that she did not want to believe was going on. She trusted this man completely and utterly. After all why would someone behave in this manner when you have nurtured them for so long?
But then as the saying goes she realized the sting of the scorpion is not out of hatred. It is it's nature to sting.
His decision to leave the residence but constantly keep a tab on her life, brought with it the fact that all who were known as family around her, all of a sudden, were not family anymore. She became unknown to them. She was abandoned. But it wasn't just that, once again the world around her, was predominantly behaving in a self- centred manner. The little girl did not count. It was all about them.
Her mother passed away and with this came many happenings in one shot. She was told by many, that she must be different, as if all that happened to her, would happen to them, they would definitely have a nervous breakdown. Yet they left her alone to deal with it.
Now her new partner seemed to be the only friend she could count on. She read about the success of her family members in magazines, not being able to even have a conversation with them around it. One little girl she took care of became a neurosurgeon but only to speak to her when she needed something and in hiding, so that her parents would not find out that she has been in contact.
One little boy she almost raised to be a successful financial advisor did not know her anymore. The other little boy for whom she did everything during his life, short of changing his diaper and including getting his business degree, became a famous and successful developer only to shun her completely.
All her ties with family severed except the little string of hope she held on to with her brother. Her new partner marched on, on her side.
After so many years, she came to understand the true meaning of unity, unity was not about having everyone around and acceptance of them in what they choose to do in life. Unity was about being alone and abandoned, but yet still belonging. It is about being a piece and the whole both at the same time.
It is about marching on in peace, accepting the chaos around as what they need to do to go on without a shred of judgement. Unity is about finding and distinguishing this drop of water within the ocean and understanding its importance, even though to the rest of the ocean the drop appears as a nothing.
Unity is about the little girl, contemplating her existence and relevance to physical life. Unity is about the girl seeing and grasping the life, source leads, through her eyes. Unity is seeing the source.
